If your dome has been damaged or you’re refurbishing an existing unit, the Spindrifter Drain Lid restores proper aeration performance and bottom circulation.

Why the dome design matters

Spindrifter lids are designed to:

• Support the recessed membrane and backing plate system
• Protect the aeration membrane from detachment
• Maintain even air distribution across the dome
• Improve circulation directly above the drain

A correctly fitted lid ensures aeration works efficiently and debris continues to move towards the sump.

Before refitting, inspect the membrane and backing plate for wear. Replacing worn components at the same time prevents repeat strip-downs later.

Always unplug your air pump before servicing aeration components. Check that the dome sits level after installation to maintain even airflow.
