As water passes through the venturi chamber, it creates suction that pulls air in through the airline inlet. The result is a stream of air-mixed water returning to the pond.

Fit notes

• Install on the pressure side of your pump – after the filter, before the return.
• Ensure your pump provides sufficient flow to create air draw.
• Use appropriate pressure pipe and unions to match your setup.

Venturis rely on flow rate. If you’re running low head or gravity returns, a dedicated air pump and diffuser may be more effective.

Installation tip

Position the return where added surface movement won’t stress fish but will improve gas exchange. More agitation at the surface means better oxygen transfer.
