Product Description
The Aquateck 4 W Quartz Sleeve is a replacement quartz sleeve for compatible Aquateck 4 W UV units. It creates a protective barrier between the UV-C lamp and pond water while allowing UV-C light to pass through the unit.
A clean, undamaged quartz sleeve helps your UV-C unit operate as intended. Check the sleeve when servicing the lamp and replace it if it is cracked, chipped or heavily marked.
Installation And Maintenance
Always isolate the UV-C unit from the electrical supply before servicing. UV-C light can harm eyes and skin, so never look directly at an operating lamp.
Handle the quartz sleeve carefully during installation. Check the seals and O-rings for wear before reassembling the unit, then follow the UV-C manufacturer instructions for safe servicing and leak checks.
