Product Description
The Aquateck 6 W Quartz Sleeve is a replacement quartz sleeve for compatible Aquateck 6 W UV units. It forms a protective barrier between the UV-C lamp and pond water while allowing the UV-C light to pass through.
Replace the sleeve if it becomes cracked, chipped or heavily coated. A clean quartz sleeve helps the UV-C lamp operate as intended. The Aquateck accessories range lists a dedicated 6 W quartz sleeve.
Installation And Maintenance
Always isolate the UV-C unit from the electrical supply before servicing. UV-C light can harm eyes and skin, so never look directly at an operating UV-C lamp.
Handle the quartz sleeve carefully. Check the O-rings and seals for wear or damage before reassembling the unit. Clean the sleeve only as directed in the UV-C unit instructions, then carry out a leak check before returning the system to service.
