Product Description
The Aquateck – Lotus 15 W–55 W Quartz O-Rings are a replacement pair of large seals for compatible Aquateck and Lotus UV-C units. They sit around the quartz sleeve to help maintain a watertight seal during servicing and reassembly.
Replace the O-rings if they look flattened, cracked, brittle or damaged. Check that the seal size matches your UV-C unit before ordering. The Aquateck accessories range lists separate small and large UV-C O-ring sets.
Installation And Maintenance
Always isolate the UV-C unit from the electrical supply before servicing. UV-C light can harm eyes and skin, so never look directly at an operating UV-C lamp.
Remove the existing O-rings carefully, clean the sealing area and inspect the quartz sleeve for damage. Fit the replacement O-rings evenly, reassemble the unit according to the manufacturer instructions and carry out a leak check before switching the system back on.
