It’s built for inline installation and designed to work alongside properly sized mechanical and biological filtration.

 

What It Does

Green water is caused by microscopic single‑cell algae suspended in the pond. As water passes through the Bitron Eco unit, it is exposed to high-intensity UV‑C light.

The ultraviolet treatment:

• Disrupts suspended algae cells
• Causes them to clump together
• Allows your filter to capture and remove the debris

UV‑C controls algae. Your filter removes the waste from the system.

 

Designed for Large Systems

The 180‑watt output makes this model suitable for:

• Large ornamental ponds
• Heavily stocked koi ponds
• Installations with higher pump flow rates

Correct sizing depends on total pond volume and actual flow through the unit.
