Economy Venturis

If you want extra aeration without adding another air pump, a venturi is a simple fix. The Economy Venturis AP436pulls air into your water return using flow pressure from your pump.

Why use a venturi?

• Introduces air directly into the water return line
• No separate air pump required
• Simple, low-cost aeration upgrade
• Ideal for returns, waterfalls and surface agitation

As water passes through the venturi body, it creates suction that draws air in through the airline inlet. The result is a stream of air-mixed water returning to the pond.

Fit notes

• Install on the pressure side of your pump, before the return to pond.
• Connect suitable airline to the air inlet.
• Ensure your pump has adequate flow to create sufficient draw.

Venturis work best where there’s good return pressure. If your flow is low, consider a dedicated air pump and diffuser instead.

Installation tip

Position the return where splashing won’t disturb fish but still creates surface movement. More surface agitation means better gas exchange.
