OASE PondoVac 5 Pond Vacuum

The OASE PondoVac 5 is a powerful pond vacuum for removing sludge, leaves and pond debris from the bottom of your pond. With suction power of up to 8,000 litres per hour and a maximum suction depth of 2.5 m, it suits larger ponds where regular pond cleaning is needed.

Unlike earlier PondoVac models, the PondoVac 5 uses a pumped waste outlet. This means dirty water can be pumped uphill from the vacuum to a suitable drainage point instead of relying on a gravity-fed discharge.

How It Works

Place the OASE PondoVac 5 beside the pond, select the suitable lance and vacuum loose debris from the pond floor. The unit draws in sludge and detritus, then pumps dirty water through the waste outlet towards your chosen drainage area.

Plan the waste-water route before you start. An optional 8 m extension hose is available if you need a longer discharge run.

Installation And Maintenance

Set the pond vacuum on firm, level ground and make sure the waste outlet reaches a suitable drainage point. Check the hose and lance connections before use.

After cleaning, remove collected debris and clean the unit in line with the OASE instructions. Keep electrical plugs and connections dry.

Always isolate electrical equipment before maintenance. Check the power cable, hoses and fittings for damage before using the vacuum.
