Product Description

Phillips 9 W UVC Lamp

The Phillips 9 W UVC Lamp is a replacement UV-C lamp for compatible pond UV-C units using a 9 W Phillips PLS lamp. Use it when servicing your existing unit to maintain the correct lamp wattage. The catalogue lists a Phillips PLS 9 W UV tube.

Installation And Maintenance

Always isolate the UV-C unit from the electrical supply before servicing. UV-C light can harm eyes and skin, so never look directly at an operating lamp.

Check your existing lamp fitting and UV-C unit model before ordering. Follow the manufacturer instructions when removing the old lamp and fitting the replacement. Inspect the quartz sleeve and O-rings for wear or damage while the unit is open, then reassemble carefully and carry out a leak check before switching it back on.
