Product Description
When fish develop white cotton‑like growths on the body, head or fins – sometimes with green or brown discolouration – fungal infection is often the cause. NT Labs Malachite is formulated to treat fungus caused by Saprolegnia
It can also be used in conjunction with Formaldehyde to treat fungal infections more effectively.
Directions:
Switch off UV Steriliser until course of treatment is complete. Tighten cap and mix well. Measure the correct dose. Using a clean watering can fill with pond water add the Malachite Green using the measuring cup to get the correct dose. Slowly apply to the pond over a 1 hour period, this will prevent shocking the pond. DO NOT USE below 12.5°C.
Dosage:
Use 10ml per 909ltr (200 gallons) of pond water. Repeat dose 10 days later.
Important:
Calculate your pond volume accurately (DO NOT GUESS).
Monitor your fish during all treatments. DO NOT treat last thing at night, the day before you go on holiday or just before you go out.
Aeration is essential during treatment. If necessary, use an additional air pump.
Filtration should be maintained at all time.
Switch off Ultra violet filters during treatment.
Do not overdose. Overdosing can cause fish fatalities.
