If your 8w Yamitsu UV clarifier isn’t maintaining clear water, a worn or scaled quartz sleeve could be reducing UV output. The Quartz Sleeve (8w Yamitsu) is a replacement glass sleeve designed specifically for 8 watt Yamitsu UV units.
The quartz sleeve forms a protective barrier between the UV lamp and pond water, allowing ultraviolet light to pass through while keeping the electrical components sealed and dry.
