Product Description
Yamitsu O-Rings for Quartz Sleeve x2
The Yamitsu O-Rings for Quartz Sleeve x2 are replacement seals for compatible Yamitsu Algae Master UV-C units. Supplied as a pair, they fit around the quartz sleeve to help maintain a watertight seal when you service or replace UV-C parts.
Replace the O-rings if they look flattened, cracked, brittle or damaged. Check your Yamitsu UV-C model and quartz sleeve size before ordering. The Yamitsu Algae Master spares range lists an O-ring set supplied as two seals.
Installation And Maintenance
Always isolate the UV-C unit from the electrical supply before servicing. UV-C light can harm eyes and skin, so never look directly at an operating lamp.
Remove the old O-rings carefully and clean the sealing surfaces before fitting the replacements. Check the quartz sleeve for damage, reassemble the unit following the manufacturer instructions then carry out a leak check before switching the system back on.
