Product Description
Building a gravity-fed pond with 4″ pipework? The 110 mm Bottom Drain (Sump Type) with Aerator Ring (AP627)combines solid waste draw with integrated aeration in one unit.
Why it works

The dome features a perforated hose ring that sits neatly on top. The aerator runs the full diameter of the dome and measures 1140 mm in length.
Aeration details
- Supplied with an air input tee
- Accepts flexible airline with 4 mm internal diameter (ID)
- Includes 10 metres of flexible clear PVC airline (4 mm ID – 6 mm OD)
Fit notes
- Designed for installation during pond construction.
- Connect to 110 mm gravity pipework leading to your filter system.
- Pair with a suitably rated air pump to supply the aerator ring.
For best results, create a gentle fall towards the drain base. The added aeration improves circulation and supports dissolved oxygen levels right where solids collect.
Safety note: Always unplug your air pump before servicing aeration equipment.
