Used alongside proper mechanical and biological filtration, it supports clearer, more stable water conditions.
How It Works
Water from your pump flows through the Vitronic housing, where it passes a UV‑C lamp protected by a quartz sleeve.
The ultraviolet light:
- Disrupts single‑cell algae
- Causes the algae to clump together
- Allows your filter to capture and remove the particles
UV‑C treats the symptom – green water – while your filter removes the waste.
