What It Does
As pond water flows through the unit, it passes a UV‑C lamp housed inside a protective quartz sleeve.
The ultraviolet light:
- Disrupts single‑cell algae
- Causes algae to clump together
- Allows your filter to capture and remove the debris
UV‑C treats green water but works alongside mechanical and biological filtration – it does not replace it.
