Direct Air Feed Set (1″ pressure converters)

When installing a Spindrifter bottom drain with a 1″ duct, the Direct Air Feed Set (1″ pressure converters) AP4511allows you to seal the ducting pipe and use it to carry air directly – avoiding a stagnant water column inside the duct.

What it does

• Converts a 1″ duct into a sealed air feed
• Prevents standing water inside the ducting pipe
• Designed for use with Spindrifter bottom drains
• Creates a cleaner, more efficient air supply route

The catalogue notes that by using the converter set, you can seal the ends of the ducting pipe (either 1″ or 40 mm) and pump air through it, avoiding a column of stagnant water

Fit notes

• Designed for Spindrifter 4″, 3″ and selected 2″ bottom drains where a 1″ duct is specified.
• Install during bottom drain setup to ensure the duct is fully sealed.
• Use suitable pressure fittings and solvent weld where required.
