Evolution Aqua K1 Micro Media

If you want more biological performance in a smaller space, Evolution Aqua K1 Micro Media is designed to deliver high surface area in compact filters and moving bed systems.

K1 Micro works on the same fluidised bed principle as standard K1 Media. When aerated in a moving bed chamber, the media constantly circulates. This self-cleaning action allows beneficial bacteria to colonise the protected surface area while excess biofilm is shed naturally.

How it works

1. Air is introduced into the bio chamber.
